Turito (they/them) is a musician, DJ, and nightlife artist whose work moves through the realms of club theatre, music, and multimedia performance art. Broadly, their work explores themes of queer stigma, sexual liberation, technology and “the online” through the sounds of hard dark rave beats and soft soundscapes with latin and pop punk influences. Turito has been nominated for Best DJ of Austin by The Austin Chronicle and previously has received 3 Best of Austin Awards for their work in music and nightlife. Their Debut album “in my head.” is a intimate snapshot of Turito’s creative world.
